The company publishes a time series showing how it distributes the economic value it generates at a group level among its stakeholders.  

The company’s Campus Connect programme teaches Indian students about topics such as big data, machine learning and the internet of things.  

Infosys follow industry norms in disclosing senior–level oversight of cybersecurity, and by having a security incident response team and international certification for its information security management system. The company also reports the number of data breaches.  

Infosys demonstrates support for the tech start-up ecosystem through its venture capital fund and by organising hackathons. 

Little evidence could be found that Infosys undertakes activities aimed at ensuring universal, inclusive or accessible digital technologies. The company has an opportunity to support initiatives that enhance access to digital technologies and digital opportunities for women and girls. It should report how many people with disabilities it employs.   

Infosys has an opportunity to build on its support for technical digital skills by supporting initiatives to boost digital literacy, intermediate skills development and school connectivity. The company could also enhance disclosure by reporting its contribution to the Campus Connect programme and the impact the programme has on its beneficiaries. 

Infosys could follow best practice and make a copy of its information security management certificate publicly available. As a digital company, it should make a high-level commitment to online child protection. 

The company has an opportunity to enhance support for open source and standards, and research on sustainability issues. Infosys should also report how many women it employs in technical roles and how it considers ethics in its research and development activities.
