Metro Rail Transit Corporation (MRTC), established in June 1995 and headquartered in Pasig City, Philippines, is a private consortium comprising seven Filipino-owned companies. MRTC owns and operates the Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 3. Initially contracted as the original builder, MRTC operates MRT-3 under a 25-year Build-Lease-Transfer (BLT) agreement with the Department of Transportation, set to conclude in 2025. Annually, MRTC facilitates approximately 129 million passengers across 98 million journeys.
