Founded in 1935 as the United Chinese Bank, United Overseas Bank (UOB) is a bank in Asia with a network of approximately 500 branches and offices across 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. It offers a wide range of financial services through its three core business segments including: consumer banking; private banking; commercial banking; transaction banking; investment banking; and treasury services. It also provides: asset management; private equity fund management; and insurance services through its subsidiaries. In 2021, the Bank had SGD 459,323 million in total assets.
