WBA’s just transition indicators (JTIs) are used to assess companies in WBA’s Climate and Energy Benchmark on whether they are contributing to a just and equitable low-carbon transition. Read more below:

The six JTIs are: 

  1. Social dialogue and stakeholder engagement
  2. Just transition planning
  3. Creating and providing or supporting access to green and decent jobs
  4. Retaining and reskilling and/or upskilling
  5. Social protection and social impact management
  6. Advocacy for policies and regulations.

All JTIs are scaled on 2 points. They are all single weighted, except JTIs 1 and 2 which are double weighted. Companies can score a maximum of 16 points and the JTIs count for 20% of the total score in the benchmark.
