Module 6 of the ACT Transport methodology assesses the companies’ supplier engagement, because in order to decarbonise the transport sector, it is essential that all actors get involved. Read more below about what this module assesses:
The supplier engagement module assesses the extent to which:
• Transport companies that are subcontracting some or all of their activities ensure that subcontracting companies are tackling climate change and decarbonising their activities.
• Transport operators are engaging with manufacturers to identify together the best low-carbon options; this is imperative to develop the technology required for the low-carbon transition.
• Transport operators are engaging with infrastructure operators and voicing their needs, as required for the necessary modal shifts and changes to transport habits.
